With the lowering of the flag of Saint Blaise from Orlando's column the 1040^th St. Blaise Festival ended. And in accordance to the centuries old tradition and to mark the end of the festival a pilgrimage from the old city of Dubrovnik to the St. Blaise Church on Gorica in the suburbs of the city was held. The flags and banners of St. Blaise were lowered for the final times and the Croatian flag was raised marking the end of the St. Blaise Festival.
