Low-cost carrier to connect Croatian capital with Dubai

The budget airline Fly Dubai has announced that it will connect the Croatian capital, Zagreb, with Dubai through the winter months. Flights on this new line start on the 19th of December and three times a week passengers will be able to travel with return ticket prices starting at around 440 Euros.The Dubai based airline will also introduce flights to Sarajevo to its list of new flights. “We remain focused on opening up underserved markets and strengthening air links from Dubai’s aviation hub to the region. The new flights to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia represent new opportunities for travel, trade and tourism for passengers in both countries and the UAE.” said flydubai’s CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith. Aftre the introduction of these new lines the airline will serve a total of 75 destinations within a five-and-a-half-hour flying radius of Dubai.Fly Dubai will become the first carrier to operate direct flights from Dubai to Sarajevo and Zagreb. Economy Class return fares from Dubai to Zagreb will start at around 450 Euros and include 20kg of checked baggage, while Business Class return fares will start at 1,500 Euros and are inclusive of all taxes and 40kg of checked baggage.These new winter flights from Zagreb will also open up the possibilty of more tourists from Dubai visiting Dubrovnik through the winter months.
