July proves to be another great month for tourism industry

More good news from the Dubrovnik Tourist Board sees an increase of 13 percent in the number of tourist arrivals in July compared to the same month last year. A total of 149,396 tourist arrivals were recorded in July and 612,171 overnight stays, an increase of 9 percent over July 2013. The most numerous guests in July were from Great Britain, Norway, France, Sweden and the USA. Almost 15 percent of guests in Dubrovnik in July were from the UK and they accounted for 20 percent of all overnight stays.All forms of accommodation in Dubrovnik saw an increase in July, hotels by 3 percent and private accommodation by an impressive 26 percent.Since the beginning of the year until the end of July Dubrovnik has received 12 percent more tourist arrivals, 467,758 guests, than the same period in 2013. Again the most numerous guests to the city in the first seven months have been from Great Britain, followed by tourists from USA, Germany, France and Croatia.
