Club Dubrovnik from New York donates to worthy causes

Representatives of the "Club Dubrovnik Inc" from New York presented donations for the retirement home “Domus Christi” in the Old City and the retirement home on Pile in the amount of $1,000 each today. The directors of both homes accepted the donations in a ceremony in the Old City. In addition this Dubrovnik association from New York donated $6,000 to Tijan Lučić who has been struggling for years with kidney problems. This donation will enable him to travel for treatment in France.A donation of $2,000 was also given to a young girl who is suffering from cerebral palsy - Ivana Švarc. The American association did not forget the Croatian territory affected by the recent flood and donated $4,000 to help.Mayor Andro Vlahušić and MEP, Dubravka Suica, along with many of Dubrovnik citizens attended the delivery of the donation.
