65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival ends

The curtain dropped on the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival yesterday. Almost 2,000 artists performed on 17 stages around the city over the 45 days of the festival. In total 79 performances were held over the festival by artists from Croatia and twenty other countries. There were three premières this year, Romeo and Juliet, Uncle Maroje and the ballet Dangerous Liaisons.The 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival proved a huge hit with the public as audience figures for 2014 were around 60,000. There was also a great interest from the media with 170 journalists and photographers from all over the world attending.
