Vogue photo shoot on Dubrovnik shoreline

Not only is Dubrovnik an ideal location for blockbuster serials such as the Game of Thrones but it seems that it is also the perfect backdrop for glamorous photo shoots. A month ago the American editor-in-chief of American Vogue, Anna Wintour, sent a team to Dubrovnik to explore the city as a possible location for a photo shoot. The team arrived yesterday in the city, including the famous photographer Mario Testino. The Peruvian fashion photographer Testino sprung to fame when he was chosen by Princess Diana for her Vanity Fair photo shoot in 1997. He has been a firm favourite of the Royal Family ever since and was awarded with an honorary OBE in 2014.The Dubrovnik photo shoot used the coastline in front of the Hotel Excelsior as their Dubrovnik setting. The popular Dutch model Lara Stone, who finished eighth on the Forbes top-earning models list for 2012, was engaged by Testino for the Dubrovnik shoot.
