José Feliciano arrives in Dubrovnik

Ahead of the 2014 Dubrovnik Wine and Jazz Festival the musical legend José Feliciano arrived in Dubrovnik this afternoon. Widely considered as the greatest living guitarist José Feliciano will play two concerts in Dubrovnik, the first a VIP event at the Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik on Friday, followed by a gala concert under the stars on the Stradun in the heart of the Old City of Dubrovnik.“I am very happy to be here in Dubrovnik and I am looking forward to entertaining the audiences here,” commented Feliciano shortly after landing on a flight from Vienna. “I will perform some new tunes as well as older ones that have built my career,” he added.Feliciano was greeted at Dubrovnik Airport by Michael Kissinger, the founder and artistic director of the festival, and by local dignitaries. The festival opens tonight in the Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik with a concert featuring the renowned American jazz singer Carol Cass.
