Ana Konjuh goal at the beginning of this year was to enter the top 100 players in the world, she has achieved it! The Dubrovnik player, who will celebrate her 17th birthday on the 27th of December, is today on the list of the top 100 players in the world.She has climbed thirteen places on the world rankings list thanks to her quarter-finals appearance at the WTA tournament in Osaka. Her victories over the Chinese player Jie Zheng and the American Coco Vandeweghe earned her exactly 60 points. And with her new total of 544 points she is exactly 100th in the world rankings. No one younger than Ana is in the top 100 players, in fact not even close. Of all of the players in the top 100 Ana has played the least amount of tournaments, only thirteen.Ana’s path to the top 100!17th October 2012 - With 6:0, 6:1 Ana defeated the Belgian player Michaela Boev, 800th on the world ranking list, in the first round of the ITF Dubrovnik Open and grabbed her first ranking points.11th November 2012 – played in her first tournament final of her professional career. In Antalya, Turkey, at the $10,000 ITF tournament where she lost to Jovana Jaksic, the 440th ranked player with 6:3 and 6:113th November 2012 - victory in the first round of the tournament in Turkey's Antalya against the Italian player Agnese Zucchini 3:6, 6:0, 6:2 and succeeded to win a place on the list of the best tennis players in the world!23rd June 2013 - she won the $25,000 ITF tournament in Montpellier, the first tournament win in her professional career.
