Google ranks Croatia in top ten for holidays

The biggest internet search engine in the world, Google, has just released figures showing that Croatia was amongst the most searched word for 2014. In a Google based study entitled “A Year In Search” the world’s number one internet site listed the biggest increases in searches for keywords. And Croatia has found itself in the category “Rising Holiday Destinations” for 2014. The top ten destinations on this list were Italy, Iceland, Portugal, Benidorm, Greece, Mexico, Amsterdam, Spain, CROATIA and New York. Of the top ten rising holiday destinations for 2014 Croatia found itself in ninth position above New York.The top ten holiday searches according to the Google survey was topped by Paris with the USA in second place and New York in third.
