Italian national airline launches flights to Dubrovnik

Another international airline has announced new flights to Dubrovnik for this summer season. The Italian national airline, Alitalia, a member of the global Association of SkyTeam airlines has included Dubrovnik in the summer timetable for 2015. In fact the Italian airline has introduced two new flights to Croatia, to Dubrovnik and to Split.Alitalia will connect Dubrovnik and Split to Linate Airport in Milan. Both lines will operate only in August 2015 during the Italian national holiday of “Ferragosto.” The Milan to Dubrovnik flight will run twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, from the 1st of August until the 29th of August. And the Split to Milan line will also run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from the 2nd of August until the 30th of August. The month of August is a traditionally a national holiday for all public companies and institutions and therefore many Italian tourists tend to visit Dubrovnik during August.
