Croatia to Canada flights introduced

Croatia has a new air connection, one that will open up the whole country to a new tourist market. The Canadian company SkyGreece Airlines has started new seasonal flight from Toronto to Zagreb. The first flight landed this week in Zagreb. SkyGreece is a Canadian/Greek company that has just started business and it looks like the link to Croatia will be a hit. More than 220 passengers landed in Zagreb this week on the inaugural flight.The plane on the Toronto-Zagreb route will be Boeing 767-300 which can carry up to 274 passengers. This season, namely until mid-October, flights from Toronto will take place every Monday while flights from Zagreb will take place every Wednesday. Croatian Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin expressed satisfaction with the launching of the new flight underlining the importance of the direct flight from Croatia to Canada.Of course this new flight will also offer tourists from Canada to visit Dubrovnik as the flight time from Zagreb to Dubrovnik is only 45 minutes.
