Italian piazza coming to Dubrovnik

A real Italian market is coming to Dubrovnik! From Wednesday the 26th of August to Sunday the 6th of September you will be able to purchase traditional Italian produce in a piazza style market.Five large stands, twenty manufacturers, with more than a hundred different products and an abundance of excellent, local Italian delicacies will all be on sale at the Lazareti complex nearby the Ploce Gate to the Old City every day from 9.00am to 9.00pm.Various cheeses, one of the trademarks of Italy, cured meats from Tuscany and Umbria, famous olives from Sicily and Puglia, cakes from Piedmont, dried fruit, various spices and much more will all be on offer in Dubrovnik.After the great success in Istria, Rijeka, Zagreb and Sibenik, the Italia fest, has finally arrived in Dubrovnik. On the stands will be able to find, among other things, typical and characteristic sausages of Montepulciano, aged and preserved in caves. Giant mortadella, originally produced in Bologna. Prosciutto from Tuscany flavoured with chilli peppers, garlic and basil. Prosciutto from Tuscany, dried boar meat, typically produced in Maremma in Tuscany.
