September to be warm and sunny

The sun is coming back to Dubrovnik! After a couple of weeks of cooler temperatures and rain a mini heat wave is about to descend on Dubrovnik. June, July and August were three extremely hot months in Dubrovnik without a drop of rain. And, according to weather forecasters, Dubrovnik is set for another period of extreme heat.This summer was an exceptionally hot one in Dubrovnik, with day after day of temperatures in the high thirties and almost no rain. The baking sunshine lasted from the beginning of June until the end of August when the rains came and cooled the city. But now it seems that September will be another warm month. Weather forecasters have predicted that the end of this week and all of next week will see temperatures in the mid thirties, with bright sunshine and blue skies. Dubrovnik is set for an Indian Summer.The long hot summer has certainly helped the tourist season in Dubrovnik, with all forms of accommodation properties reporting outstanding results. The news that the summer season could get longer with a warm and sunny September on the way is even more positive news for the city and its tourist industry.
