Shop till you drop in Zupa

Raise the flags, sound the horns and shout from the mountains “We got a mall!” Finally it is here, in one of the top tourist destination in the world! Not exactly in the Old City but close enough, 10 minutes away in Zupa. The grand opening of the new shopping centre was the main news for a few days, photos filled the social media and newspaper headlines sung praise. Women had “shopping orgasms” when they entered, although this mall is small, sometimes small is beautiful. But, you know what they say...every beginning is hard.The easy part is to shop. It doesn't seem to matter that the Croatian GDP is collapsing, that thousands of people don't have jobs, or their pay checks are so miserable that they can barely pay the bills. The shopping centre was full on the opening day, and the day after, and the day after, the day after, and probably will be for months to come. The Croatian Minister of Finance Boris Lalovac recently commented that the country is out of the crisis and now we can spend all the money we saved. Whether that was in socks under the bed or in the bank, it doesn't matter. Spend, spend, spend is the word of the month.And if your girlfriend or wife is a little kinky or in PMS (god save us all) take her to the mall. It doesn't matter if it's small. At least is affective. Buy her some nice shoes, a dress and some chocolate, in all shapes and tastes. There she will feel like a bee in a field of flowers. You can sit and drink a beer, and wait.This new mall is also great news for tourism. Finally we got a place where can we send tourists when they ask for a shopping centre. It was a little bit embarrassing in the past. No place to recommend. Now we have new nice place to hang out, spend some saved money and take care of women in PMS.
