Bivši NBA centar, a nama poznat po bizarnoj i kratkoj epizodi u KK Zadru, Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis mora u zatvor. Nekadašnji košarkaš našao se usred slučaja u kojem je dokazano da je sudjelovao u pokušaju da se prevari NBA liga i njezin plan brige za zdravstveno osiguranje bivših igrača, piše Telesport.

U prevari je sudjelovalo 20 bivših NBA igrača koje se tereti da su podnosili lažne medicinske izvještaje ne bi li tako iskamčili novac iz plana za zdravstveno osiguranje NBA lige. Davis je osuđen na 40 mjeseci zatvora i još tri godine uvjetne slobode pod nadzorom.

Također bivši ‘igrač’ KK Zadra mora vratiti 80 tisuća dolara, a propisano mu je pohađanje tečaja financijske odgovornosti te obvezno liječenje.

Davis je, podsjetimo, u NBA ligi igrao od 2007. do 2015., a s Boston Celticsima uzeo je i naslov prvaka 2008. godine. Nakon kraja NBA karijere stigao je u KK Zadar u pokušaj oživljavanja karijere na jesen 2018. Navijači su ga dočekali s oduševljenjem zbog vijesti da je potpisala bivša velika zvijezda pa ga je tako Tornado vodio i na večeru u McDonald’s.

Naravno, sve to aludirajući na dosta krupnu Davisovu konstituciju zbog koje je i dobio nadimak ‘Big Baby’ i zbog problema s kilažom zbog kojih je rano završila njegova NBA avantura. No, u Zadru nikad nije zaigrao utakmicu ni odradio trening, već je odmah poželio pobjeći natrag u SAD.

To se i dogodilo pa je ‘Big Baby’ u Zadru ostao samo na razini fusnote i urbane legende. A sad će zasigurno opet napuniti stupce stranih i tuzemnih medija…, piše Telesport.

Bivši NBA centar, a nama poznat po bizarnoj i kratkoj epizodi u KK Zadru, Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis mora u zatvor. Nekadašnji košarkaš našao se usred slučaja u kojem je dokazano da je sudjelovao u pokušaju da se prevari NBA liga i njezin plan brige za zdravstveno osiguranje bivših igrača, piše Telesport.

U prevari je sudjelovalo 20 bivših NBA igrača koje se tereti da su podnosili lažne medicinske izvještaje ne bi li tako iskamčili novac iz plana za zdravstveno osiguranje NBA lige. Davis je osuđen na 40 mjeseci zatvora i još tri godine uvjetne slobode pod nadzorom.

Također bivši ‘igrač’ KK Zadra mora vratiti 80 tisuća dolara, a propisano mu je pohađanje tečaja financijske odgovornosti te obvezno liječenje.

Davis je, podsjetimo, u NBA ligi igrao od 2007. do 2015., a s Boston Celticsima uzeo je i naslov prvaka 2008. godine. Nakon kraja NBA karijere stigao je u KK Zadar u pokušaj oživljavanja karijere na jesen 2018. Navijači su ga dočekali s oduševljenjem zbog vijesti da je potpisala bivša velika zvijezda pa ga je tako Tornado vodio i na večeru u McDonald’s.

Naravno, sve to aludirajući na dosta krupnu Davisovu konstituciju zbog koje je i dobio nadimak ‘Big Baby’ i zbog problema s kilažom zbog kojih je rano završila njegova NBA avantura. No, u Zadru nikad nije zaigrao utakmicu ni odradio trening, već je odmah poželio pobjeći natrag u SAD.

To se i dogodilo pa je ‘Big Baby’ u Zadru ostao samo na razini fusnote i urbane legende. A sad će zasigurno opet napuniti stupce stranih i tuzemnih medija…, piše Telesport.

Bivši igrač KK Zadar kojeg su navijači vodili u McDonald’s sad mora u zatvor! Evo zašto...

Bivši NBA centar, a nama poznat po bizarnoj i kratkoj epizodi u KK Zadru, Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis mora u zatvor. Nekadašnji košarkaš našao se usred slučaja u kojem je dokazano da je sudjelovao u pokušaju da se prevari NBA liga i njezin plan brige za zdravstveno osiguranje bivših igrača, piše Telesport.

U prevari je sudjelovalo 20 bivših NBA igrača koje se tereti da su podnosili lažne medicinske izvještaje ne bi li tako iskamčili novac iz plana za zdravstveno osiguranje NBA lige. Davis je osuđen na 40 mjeseci zatvora i još tri godine uvjetne slobode pod nadzorom.

Također bivši ‘igrač’ KK Zadra mora vratiti 80 tisuća dolara, a propisano mu je pohađanje tečaja financijske odgovornosti te obvezno liječenje.

Davis je, podsjetimo, u NBA ligi igrao od 2007. do 2015., a s Boston Celticsima uzeo je i naslov prvaka 2008. godine. Nakon kraja NBA karijere stigao je u KK Zadar u pokušaj oživljavanja karijere na jesen 2018. Navijači su ga dočekali s oduševljenjem zbog vijesti da je potpisala bivša velika zvijezda pa ga je tako Tornado vodio i na večeru u McDonald’s.

Naravno, sve to aludirajući na dosta krupnu Davisovu konstituciju zbog koje je i dobio nadimak ‘Big Baby’ i zbog problema s kilažom zbog kojih je rano završila njegova NBA avantura. No, u Zadru nikad nije zaigrao utakmicu ni odradio trening, već je odmah poželio pobjeći natrag u SAD.

To se i dogodilo pa je ‘Big Baby’ u Zadru ostao samo na razini fusnote i urbane legende. A sad će zasigurno opet napuniti stupce stranih i tuzemnih medija…, piše Telesport.
